The Loan Process

Soon, you will be getting personalized rate information, a tailored mortgage plan and a dedicated Loan Officer to help you get the right loan for you. You may also choose to complete our secure on-line pre-qualification form, which will be forwarded to one of our mortgage specialists.

We understand how important this decision can be. In order to make you as comfortable as possible, we want to take you through the loan process.

Step One: Start.
Once you submit your Information Request Form either via a phone call or online, a Mid America Funding, Inc Loan Officer will review your information and get back to you within 24 hours. You will then discuss your various options, at which time the Loan Officer can help you build a mortgage plan that makes sense for you, depending on your circumstances and needs. Consult our Application Checklist for documents and information we will need.

Step Two: File.
Our Loan Officer will ask your permission to run a credit report, unless you already have a current one. You may be asked a series of personal financial questions and for proof of documentation to substantiate this information. This is done to expedite the submission of your application to a lender in order to get you the best rate.

Step Three: Plan.
Once your paperwork is processed, your file will be underwritten, the property will be appraised and collateral information such as title reports and flood certifications will be ordered. Depending on your situation, this could happen in as little as two business days.
